I was hired at a relatively young age to lead a nationally recognized nonprofit organization. The business was struggling and in crisis, and eventually came within 2 weeks of shutting it doors.

I feel very proud that, while I was handed an organization on the brink of bankruptcy, I was able to save the organization and rebuild the business from the ground up.

The organization is now fundamentally different, transformed into a highly influential, respected, and successful voice in advocacy for equity and social, environmental, and climate justice.

I’ve been a nonprofit Executive Director, Chief Executive Officer, Chief Development Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Operating Officer.

With 16 years of success in the nonprofit sector, I have experience leading the full range of professional responsibilities within a nonprofit or small business, and have a broad skillset that includes financial management, grant writing, business administration, fundraising, relationship stewardship, legislative advocacy, and communications.

Over 10 years as a nonprofit executive:

Grew and diversified revenue from grants, consulting, and fundraising, resulting in a 46x increase in net assets.
Wrote, won, and managed millions of dollars’ worth of grant and contract proposals.
Developed a high-impact, comprehensive fundraising plan from the ground up that increased the donor base by 5x and donation revenue by 20x.
Created a customized financial modeling tool that enabled the tracking, forecasting, and analysis of up to 30 concurrent funding sources.
